• Acting for a body corporate and individual director in an unfair prejudice claim brought by an ex-director and minority shareholder, advancing counter claims in respect of negligent misrepresentations.
• Acting for sub-contractors and former employees of a construction company in liquidation, obtaining validation orders pursuant to S127 Insolvency Act 1986.
• Acting for an individual in respect of claims made by the Trustee in Bankruptcy of transactions at an undervalue and transactions defrauding creditors, involving complex legal issues such as intermixing monies in bankruptcy and alleged gifts.
• Bringing a private prosecution against a former employee and his partner, in relation to a high-value fraud and associated money laundering offences.

Serena trained at a major regional firm and qualified as a solicitor in Commercial Litigation in March 2022 before joining Ontier LLP in December 2022. She previously worked at Peters & Peters LLP as a paralegal in their Business Crime team, assisting on high profile cases, most notably on Hamilton & Ors v Post Office Ltd [2021] EWCA Crim 577, in respect of Post Office’s Horizon IT scandal.
