Michael has over thirty years’ experience in dealing with family structures both onshore and offshore. Michael undertakes a broad range of work focussing on the strategic issues and wealth creation and preservation. His work covers Probate issues as well as lifetime trusts and related structures.
Michael advises on tax issues for individuals and structures and as well as being a solicitor is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Until 2005 when he retired from his firm Michael was a Partner of Bircham Dyson Bell acting from within the Private Wealth department. He was also Managing Partner. As well as being a solicitor and member of both the CIOT and STEP Michael gained his MBA with Distinction from Nottingham Trent University and passed though the Harvard University program in Leadership as well as other people related programs. Michael delivers a post qualification course for Private Client practitioners at the College of Law and for over twenty five years has contributed to and edited professional publications.
